quadrunner 500 vs. vinson and eiger.
#2
From my experience the Vinson is considerably faster. More of a sporty bike, but still a strong utility. The Qrunner 500 is a powerful machine, so far mine has been incredibly reliable. Both have great turning radius. Think of the Vinson as a quadrunner with a bunch of improvements, faster engine, Auto trans available, digital display, spotry plastic, etc.... The tradeoff is that with all of the new improvements there have been a few bugs to work out on the Vinson. I am not familiar with the Eiger but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Check out these links for more info.......

It's old school vs. new school. The Quadrunner has been around a long time, but the suspension and chassis are small, short and out of date. I expect the Quadrunner to be finished by the end of this year.
It carried the dim flame through the '90's, now it is time for the new Z (s), Vinson, Ozark and Eiger to light the bonfire!

fourlix true but......... to say that all of the atv forums across the internet are not filled with Vinson reliability issues would be to ignore the truth. I've read tons of posts about shifter troubles, motor mounts breaking, plastic breaking, shifting and melting, and on and on. I'm not knocking the Vinson, its a new design that uses a lot of new technolegy. Thus, a lot of things go wrong for the fist couple years. I wanna ride my quad, not fix it every month. Sometimes the latest thing ain't the greatest thing.............

myself and four friends recently bought Eiger's. And my cousin bought the Quadrunner 500 about six months ago. Both are great bikes, and i'm sure the Vinson is to, but i don't know anything about it. But the comparisons that I see, is that Quadrunners got better accelaration, better top speed. Which I don't see a utility bike needing to much of that. Being that the Eiger is automatic. Its smoother going over everything from hills to mud. Drawbacks from each, the eiger could get its belt wet, never happened to me, but two of my friends. 500, not sure on how much fuel it holds, but the eiger lasts longer on a tank of fuel. Handling, maneuverability are almost identical, but in my opinion, the eiger is better, but then again, that 500 seems to pull me out of a lot of trouble with those extra 100 cc's
