Z400 vs. Raptor
#41
Now I wasn't trying to say "mine is better than your's" by ANY means. All I was simply saying was, compare apples to apples. In this case it looks like thay are compring apples to oranges. 660 vs a 400. Drastic differences in size, so why so close in performance? That's all I was saying. I did like the comment on keeping power cjoked on the Raptor to keep from getting sued, a realistic possibility. (Also I was refereing to totally stock quads, not modded out yet.) I know the Raptor is a great bike. I got SmOkEd by a modded one! I was picking grass out of my teeth, literally! But they both have their own pro's and con's over one another.

Those of you who have read my posts concerning the Z400, know that I rode one a few times. and was very impressed.
It feels lighter and smoother than my Raptor. I bought the Raptor before the Z400 came out, so it was a choice between a 400EX and a Raptor. (Raptor won)
None the less, knowing what I know now, for the riding that I do, the Raptor is still best for me.
But next year may be a different story.
It sure is a great time to be riding quads!.

Man, I've been to Hanford, Ca and all I can say is that saying you have the fastest Banshee in Hanford is like saying I have the fastest car in my garage. Not exactly a major metro area you're throwing out there. Of course I only was there for a couple of hours to hammer a miserable high school football team, but that's another story altogether...I won't digress into an Al Bundy moment.

727Banshee.... In what way did the Raptor motor come from the Yamaha R6 motor?
Let me remind you that the Raptor is a single cylinder long stroke, and the R6 is a inline 4 cylinder short stroke.
So again, how are the two motors related?
