Does the Z4400 have a forward rev limiter?
#2
yeah it has a forward limiter, yoshimura will be commin out with a ignition soon that revs to 11k, you can get it now, but have to splice it, because its wired for DZ400, they are currently working on a plug for the LTZ. another option is Dyna, but from experience, programmable ignitions are more work then they are worth for the average consumer

Now, now, the programmable ignition will be an option with a plug-n-play version standard. Dyna's ignitions also run 100 volts more which creates a quicker throttle response. The programmable is for guys who are constantly changing motor setups and want to customize their torque curves. The 11,000 rev limit will never be hit unless you have a seriously built rev motor, or you are stupid and cannot ride. Even then the Dyna is able to go to 12,000..
