picked up the zilla today
#1
I had been looking for a good Zilla to restore. I spent more than I wanted to. This one was a 88 and the motor was just rebuilt from top to bottom. It was done by a reputable speed shop and he had the reciepts. The Zilla is about 85% restored with new OEM plastic. I had to give 31 for it and he had over 4 in it. Now I have a matching set 250 and 500. I wanted to get both restored and keep because they want build nothing like them again. The LTs and the 250r are something special. The banshee will soon be in the hunt soon. It want be made but another year or 2.

The reason I bought it was the guy done all the right things to the motor. He knowed what he was doing and where to get it done at. The motor has a .60 overbore with some very mild porting on the intake ports. All new bearings and the transmission was gone through and moded at a speed shop . Also has new suzuki clutch basket and barnet cluthes. Less than 5 hrs on the motor. It was trued and balanced . This thing has no vibration. He bought all new Suzuki plastic and nose piece. 39mm carb was put on with FMF pipe and rad valve. That is what I plan to change. I will sell the FMF stuff and send the cylinder to trinity . I will also put a trinity pipe on it to. It is had all new bearings in the arms frame and swingarm. It needs fender braces and the headlight was gone. I am looking for that stuff now. I gave $31 for it and he had over $4 in it.
