I'm not sure who to send my engine to. The Zilla needs new crank bearings. Where should I send it, and how much should I expect to pay?? I'm NOT going to have any major mods done, just need the cases split, everything inspected, and all new bearings installed. Or should I just send it to the local Zuki dealer??

Ericgorr.com Call everyone else, then call him and talk to him, I can promise that he will be cheaper than most, but his quality is unmatched. Stay away from CT,Duncan,ect. All of the "puppy" shops will screw you big time, and that is after your engine is gone for 3 months.

 

My brother had three 500 motors done by Trinity and they have all hauled as$ with no problems. He tried Eric Gorr by reference of a friend and the ports were barely touched, didn't weld a specified part, and charged him for gaskets he did not need. Then he went to Trinity. I don't know much about Gorr, but the first was the last. Call Trinity and see what they can do for you. They are one of the biggest for a reason.

 

YEA.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sent my LT500 engine to tudors. He "JEFF TUDOR" said He would need the engin for about 3 weeks, I Waited over A year to get it back, And to this date He " JEFF TUDOR" has still not sent my stock cylinder head back. I feel Very lucky To have even gotten my engine back. TRULY A FIRST CLASS *** HOLE.

Ive been to his shop numerous times. (shops, two of them. One for his diss/reas the motors, and one for ALL the machining tools/work)
They are very organized, and he is there VERY late working sometimes. He was there at 9pm the other night working when I picked up my head and carb. He is a good guy, and is working is *** off making good quality motors.

I would trust jeff, I have only heard good things about dealing with him. And I also have heard his motors scream, havn't ever ran into one up here in idaho, wish i did. But like 350x says, this one guy seems to be a bit distraught, I have read all the zilla posts here on the connection and have never seen hide nor hair of this kid. So it could very easily be some punk posting bottomless accusations. My 2cents.
