Does anyone have a HFM exhaust on a Vinson? If so, is there much increase in performance. How much louder is it than stock. I don't mind a nice deep growl, just don't want it offensive. I love the vinson now that I have ALL the problems worked out. Just put Titan 589 M/T's on it (stock size) and want a little more performance. Please help. I have the Auto. Is a clutch kit necessary with the HMF exhaust?

2002 yellow Suzuki Vinson auto (great on the trails, hasn't been reliable)
1999 green Polaris Magnum 500 (great in the mud, surprisingly, no problems at all)

 

Any help would be appreciated. Guess if I knocked someone elses quad, then I'd get some response. That is what this forum is getting to anyway. A lot of bashing, very little help.

Every HMF exhaust I have heard is VERY loud, and a lot of them don't come with a spark arrestor, I would stick with the FMF Q series, Supertrapp IDS2, or see if MBRP is making one yet, they are a baffled silencer,never need repacking,and are supposed to be lower on the noise,(most run about 92-95 db, stock on most is 89 -91).
