besides the z400 bearly gets beat by a stock raptor if you wait for the new raptor and it is 10 ponies slower it gonna get beat by everthing inculding the honda 400 ex!

 

i bought the z400 ...instead of the (new)yamaha..i was never a suzuki quy until now ...i was always a yamaha guy ...i had a 98 warrior..99 banshee..98 yzf600r streetbike..and a 2001 raptor ...i sold the raptor and got the z400 ..love it...the banshee is one of the best quads yamaha makes ...(raptor breaks to much)but to wait until they come out with a new quad ..who sayes it will hold up the first year...the raptor didnt the first year.get the z 400 and ride your brains out ...good luck
