Suzuki's 700cc 2-stroke killer quad

I just read about this new quad suzuki is building, but still in the designing faze. I sounds like a killer quad. Do you know when its to come out? Or any more of the specs? Can almost garentee it will be to rich for my blood.

I think you should buy a Z400. Keep it reliable. I think Doug Gust would want it that way.

Suzuki will not come out with no more 2 strokes. If they get a 700 it will be the kawi version. Or some hope up shop mite put a big bore 2 stroke in a Zs frame like they done with the CR500. They put a new 500 engine in the new 250 frame.

where did you read about this quad? I would like to know. I know that suzuki supplies arctic cat with there snowmobile engines. It would be sweet if they put the technology from the "laydown" engines in there FIRECAT sleds on an engine and put it in a race chassis of some sort. THAT would be wicked.

Suzuki has said they will not be using the Kawi 700 at all. From what I heard they will be putting a street bike engine in a sport quad at some point.

The SV650 would make a decient choice. I can't think of another Suz street bike engine that would make a good all around quad engine.

It a dual purpose bike, but the DR650 engine make the most sence. JMO

Yo JSsDS, those are verygood prospects but I think Suzuki is going for the top in the high-performance quad industry. What I mean is.... they will come out with a quad that will decimate all. We can only wait..........

I would be very surprised if they put a 700cc two-stroke engine in a quad. After all the law suits of the 80s and the high cost of such a project, Suz would be foolish to build it.
A 700cc two-stroke could be made to put out well over 200 hp that would not only put them at the top of the power war, it would be one of the most powerful quads in existance!!! from an OEM???

Then reality set in
