Default King Quad brake Fixes and Engine Questions

99MudKing,
When you get going with this big bore project, please post progress to this forum or if it's not a big inconvenience, e-mail me. I've not done anything like this to an ATV and it does sound like a good project.

I'd really like to stay updated on the progress. I might try something like this myself some day.

Thanks,
Mark

Default King Quad brake Fixes and Engine Questions

You have a good point, i do take on hobbies like that myself, but the biggest concern fo rme is the cost. I don't have a endless buget to take on a project like that. most big bore kits wont give you much more then .040. you'd probably have to have a custom pistion made to give you the compression you want in a .404 bore. the problem your goign ot run into is that if you want someone to make you a piston, hell you could spend the 1500 more and buy the kaw. LOL i know i understand what yoru tryign to do and god idliek more poiwer from my king quad too, but the problem is. the money and the time and the end result is it worth it. well good luck and keep me informed because if yo ucome across anythgin good that mighth help others id like to hear it.

hope it works out of rya. good luck.

matt.

PS where did you find the information on how to convert you bore displacement?
