Why would the head gasket blow? The motor was recently rebuilt.

 

i don't know but i blew mine yesterday it made a noise and then i just shut it off and loaded it up and took it home

 

Not torqued properly. Just because a motor was just built does mean you can leave it alone. I have a quadzilla and torque the head bolts and cylinder and case bolts all the time they will loosen up and cause oil leaks or other problems

 

thexotic1, what does it sound like when you blow a head gaskat. mine made sort of a pop noise is that what it sounds like.
