Default Replacing Z400 Fuel Tank Valve Question

The vacume operated Suzuki fuel valves have a reputation for not being 100% reliable. I am about to install an IMS desert tank, and figured I might as well just put on a manual fuel valve at the same time. Anybody have any suggestions as to what will fit?? Are these things standart in the industry?? Can I just buy a 400EX valve and use it?? Any info grealy appreciated!!

Default Replacing Z400 Fuel Tank Valve Question

Maybe IMS has a valve or knows of one that will fit their tank. I agree with the lack of trust in the vacuum operated unit. You can always put it on the "purge" position and gas will flow but what if it doesn't shut off? Last thing i want is gas leaking in my toy hauler.. Let us know what you find.
