I have a 86 Quadracer and I would like to know what would be a great mid to high range pipe. I like to run the hills at Glamis and need a little more speed(don't we all) I am currenly running an FMF gold series which I have had for about 7 years now. Is there a better one? Any opinions?

 

Go for the Paul Turner Pipe, It will do the trick. I have ran the FMF and it was OK. I bought the new Paul Turn and it made a BIG difference in the power. WAY more top, Mid & low end.

 

Paul Turner doesn't make a pipe for the 85-86 QuadRacers. I tried to find one for mine but to no avail. I'd say get an LRD for it. They only make a non adjustable one for the 85-86s instead of the fully adjustable one that they make for the 87+ Racers.

 

YEAH I would definitely get the LRD. It'll wake up the old LT. I myself have one and love it! It gives a bit more in the MID to TOP-end power. The accelleration is increased pretty good compared to the stock.
