My brother has a 89 lt250 he think it has over 30 h.p and can go over 70 m.p.h. . Can you guys help me out with ow much horsepower and top speed of the lt?

Is it stock? What kind of mods does it have if any? This would help figure out your question.

It has an lrd pipe and exhaust and ice tires, extended a-arms and axle. that's all.
