Default Z400 Skid Plate ?s

Hello everyone. I currently do not own a Suzuki right now, but as soon as my KX250 sells I'm going to purchase one. I was wondering what type of skid plates u guys recommend for the 400 and if u feel A arm guards are a good investment since this 400 will mostly see heavily wooded areas and not tracks. I know DGs full and rear swing arm plates are nice, but I wasn't sure if there was any others out there worthy of appraise. Thanks for your help, ASmurf.

I have the DG's, both swingarm and chassis skid plates. The rear seems unusually LOW, and I wack a lot of rocks that the EX would miss!!

Don't see how you could go wrong with Pro Armor. http://www.proarmor.com/ I've yet to hear anything bad other then the cost is a little high.

i have the pro-tect rear swingarm plate. its stainless steal. i liked it because it gave the most ground clearance of any skid. little pricey though. $140

I had Pro Armor's original swing arm skid and it sucked. However, there new one is better and they tell me that it's heat treated. My girlfriend has the PRM swing arm skid on her Z, and it does offer better protection for your components than the Pro Armor and is much cheaper. As for other skids, I have the Pro Armor belly skid and also frame guards. I love the belly skid, and the frame gaurds, they're alright. For a swing arm, I'd go for PRM.
