What kind of riding are you talking about? The Z400 has got good power, great handling, and has been very reliable to me so far. A few mods can get this bike really going

The Z would be the best for the buck, it handles, decent power, it also has easy to use features. In a Drag the Trailblazer 400 would probably come out on top it easily beats a 400ex in a drag and it would probably do the same to the Z. If you want somthhing endestructable and you can have years of trouble free riding get the 400ex it's more simple and has no potential problems like the Z. If it was me I'd get the KFX400 because it looks better than the Z, next would be the Trailblazer 400 because it would tear up the trail with reverse and automatic, last would be the 400ex I would love it and couldn't ask for mor if it had reverse.

There is no..I say no way.....that a trailblazer 400 will even come close to a Z400 or a 400EX in a drag race. I will admit that in tight trails the full auto trans gives it a advantage, but in no way can it compete as far a acceleration or top speed with either of the other 400's. The auto trans eats up the power like crazy. The trailblazers are great fun machines ( my wife has a trailblazer 250), but they are not the high performance race capable bikes that either the Z400 or 400ex are. All three are great quads....you just need to know what you want to do with them. If you are trying to decide between the two manual trans, the Z400 is the way to go. Don't you think that maybe Zuk learned a few thing from the 400EX. They sit in almost an identical stance, the Z400 just has a better motor. Hope this helps.

I've seen it happen time after time the Scrambler won which is the same as the 400 Trailblazer, the EX rider races MX. Both were bone stock

I have to agree with 87RaceRider, no way the Trailblazer hangs anyway near the Z in a drag or on trails!! On trails it would depend on the rider, but in a drag it would be pure power and speed that wins it for the Z.
