Default 1986 LT230 quadrunner

Hey I got some problems with my 86 LT230. First of all, it leaks oil like mad right between the top end and the crank case. Second of all, the engine won't stay running when I kick it into 3rd gear. 1st gear has a lot of power and second gear works just fine, but for some reason when I kick it again, it bogs down and shuts off. Last of all, it is really hard to start. I have resorted to ether sprayed in the exhaust and even dumping gas into the air filter. Even then, it still is hard to start sometimes. If anyone can give any help it would be appreciated greatly. I NEED INPUT!!
Thanks

I'd start by cleaning the carb real good, clean out the exhaust pipe for carbon build up. and fix the oil leak that isn't a good thing then do a compression check to see where you are at the engine could be tired. checkand see if your fuel line is clean or gunked up from sitting ( inline filter?) and last but not least a new plug.
