Hey, I just found out about a basket cased motor Quadsport for $400. My question has anybody very put a larger thumper like the DR350 in this quad. I'm not going to spend the bucks on the new DR400 bike to get the motor, I just think it might be a fun project. If I done do a conversion I'll just restore it an make some buck. Open to any ideas.

i have a 85 quadsport and it is mainly stock. but if you want to put a larger motor in it will need to do a lot more mods than just the motor. probably need all around shocks. and besides the fact they don't handle very well i could not imagine what it would be like with a bigger motor. but if you want to spend the bucks you can put any motor you want in it

Why do you say the Quad Sport's don't handle well?

Because as compared to Honda's they don't. Where do you live in Erie? Did you ever heard of 6 mile trails?
