I recently purchased a 2000 Suzuki Mini-QuadSport for my sons. The mini-quad appears sluggish from the start and lacks power. The dealer indicated there are intake and exhaust restrictors installed that limit power and speed. How do I remove these restrictors? Do I need to re-jet? Any other suugestions are welcome. Thanks.

It's pretty simple. Unscrew the cap on the top of the carb and remove the plastic restricter on the slide. The exhaust restrictor is also simple. Unbolt the pipe and it just sits in the front of the pipe and can be lifted right out when you pull the pipe off. No you shouldnt need to rejet.
