It should be an LT230G, 1986 model. But I'm not sure if it's a quadsport or quadrunner or what?

It has:
chain,
electric start
reverse
disc front and rear
light

whoa! that is one rough-lookin' quad but i'm pretty sure it's a quadsport.

 

It looks like a Quadsport. Im pretty sure all Quadrunners were shaft driven. It is pretty rough looking. I would replace all the plastic.

 

IT's a beater alright but it still runs and gets us around the property and back and forth to the river bottom.

Some of the highlights are no back brakes, some front brakes, it now has some huge tires on the back that will coat you with one mud puddle. And my favorite, the left front tire has no valve stem and hence no air. The bead is stuck to the rim and the tire (orginal I think) doesn't ride flat. WE of course don't ride it hard, just a utility vehicle.

But you can go into the barn right now fire it up and ride.

I have a 87 lt230sh bought new and still have it today...it has outward kick start, chain drive, hand clutch, reverse, front and rear disc brake. It looks identical to yours except mine is white and blue. Yours is no doubt a quadsport...the #'s could be lt230e...or...lt230se...or...lt230sge..."E" for electric start. The quadrunners had a slitghtly different front fenders and auto clutch with elec. start. hope this helps.

 

If it has an electric start it is a quadrunner. They never made the quadsport with an electric start.

Is it automatic clutch?

 

His has both electric start and chain drive. The quadrunner has very different front fenders than he does!

 

My quadrunner has a chain as do most and the same plastic. If his is an automatic clutch it's a quadrunner. Plain and simple.

 

Oh forgot is is an auto tranny. No manual clutch.

Just want to make sure I get the right part.

One more edit, looks like the rear fender is the same on both anyway.

 

Thank you. Like I SAID it's a QUADRUNNER. Electric start + Automatic clutch = QUadrunner. Kickstart + manual clutch= Quadsport HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO

This forum is sad when a guy who's owned a Suzuki for two weeks (me) is giving out correct information and all these Suzuki "gurus" are giving out the wrong info.
