Default Battery Help

Hey fellasI got a battery question. I left the start key on for a week and of course the battery died. Then I pull started it and it ran fine but my display lights were dim and so was my headlight. I had the atv months before this and it was fine.

My?'s Why are the lights so dim when the engine is running? The lights run using the battery???
Will an atv not charge a battery? I put over 100 miles on it since this and the battery is as dead as ever.

Sounds to me like you have at least one bad cell in your battery. It's toast! Your electrical system is the only thing keeping your lights going. If a battery is bad it will not recharge. Looks like you will have to replace it. That will cure your lighting problem. Good luck!
