ozark 250
#1
I am a 16 year old. I am 120 lbs and 6 foot.
I am looking at the ozark, and the Rancher At (400)
Right now i have a 1991 moto4.
I ride in mud, snow, and lots of trails.
How does the ozark go through mud? How deep?
Would i be big for the ozark?
And how do they hold up?
Thank you, Dan

Your weight will not be a problem but your height might. One of the few negative comments heard about the Ozark is the tendency to bump into the rear rack. I "test sat" one in the showroom just last weekend - planning on getting one for my wife one of these days - I'm 6'2" and could tell that the Ozark would be too small for me. Not that I couldn't ride it, but I would not be able to move around as well as I should and I'd be putting a lot of weight way back. Since I outweigh you by 80 pounds, maybe you should just see how you fit on a 'zark. They are a great bike.

My Nephew weighs around 135 and is around 6'1" tall. He loves to ride our Ozark. In fact if given the choice, he will choose it over any of the other Quads we have (Just got rid of the Lakota Sport). We all went out for a Mud ride a couple of weeks ago, (KFX400, 400EX, 2 Warriors & Lakota Sport) and that little 250 Ozark embarrased a lot of us. The clearance due to the shaft drive gave him a definate advantage over the rest of us with our Chain drive Quads. We all took turns getting stuck on the deep rutted muddy hills and he went right up every one of them.
The Ozark is absolutely the shining star in the 250cc Sport Ute class and it is one of the most versitile trail Quads out there. You won't be dissapointed.
The one thing that you need to consider is the fact that at 16 years of age, you are probably still growing, so there is the possibility that you may out grow the Ozark. Just something to think about.

Thank you, you have answered my question about how the Ozark handles in mud. Are the tires tubeless? and do they hold up, or go flat easy?. Is there a speedometer some where out there that a person can put on it? I think that I have narrowed the Ozark down to my first choice. I also like the Z250, but would not probably go through mud as good, plus no racks. Plan on picking up Ozark when I go back up north for summer. Thank you for any additional info that you can give me.

Wille 1, nice pictures. Looks like you guys are having fun. Are those stock tires on your Ozark? How do you like them? I like the yellow, looks sporty. I will probably get green. Like to hunt. Have you any info on speedometer for the Ozark? Well keep on having fun.
