Just bought the Lady a new Qzark, all the tests I have read say it's the best of the sport utility type.
She has rode my KFX, but the clutch gave Her trouble. The Mojave has a clutch and no elec starter as does the Blaster. The Recon 250 and the EX 250 are auto clutch, but she did not like the yellow or the red, the Ozark has red and a different shade of yellow and that what she likes. (She would have bought the Ozark for the color alone) The Beartracker/Bayou/Rally(UGLY) are more utility than the Ozark. The Polaris Scrambler 250 is full auto trans, but is like 460 #'s, The Yam Breeze is full auto, but too small for Her size The Lakota Sport is cool, but She likes the floorboards and racks of the Ozark.
I have yet to ride it, but I will try it out next weekend, If I can pry Her off it !!

KFX bob I am also looking at the ozark or the Rally.for my wife. The Rally automatic it very tempting but I agree it is kind of ugly compared to the ozark. It also seems bulky. But shifting seems to be and issue on the ozark they said in reviews it is very jerky is that true? If you rode the rally compared to the ozark if you can give me some input it would be a big help.

the shifting isn't as bad as everyone claims it would be, i own a ozark and i dont think i would ever trade it for a rally. i never have rode the rally but in some reviews i heard it sucked.

the shifting is pretty good once you setup the shifter. The shifter is adjustable to your own feelings. we had to adjust ours for thick boots. when riding with boots it shifts great but now when putting around with sneakers on you have to lift a little higher thats all. The front end comes up pretty easy. But 2nd and 3rd gear are great for trail rideing. as you can see in some of my pics the ozark is not afraid of deep water or sand. she takes small jumps well. hust a good wheeler. the lights are great for night riding.

HI. I have an Ozark and I love it! Our cousins have Honda Ranchers and a Recon, so they were trying to talk me into the Recon, (I am a female and they thought it would be good size) but the Ozark really caught my attention. Mine is that Bright yellow, different than the rest the yellows out there. (you know us chicks and colors!) Anyways, it does awesome in the mud and deep water!!!! I have all stock on there and the tires went right through the mud no problem. Water was over my seat! The Recon stalled and died, mine went through repeatedly! The Rancher was good for utilty of course and the blaster did good for speed, but mine was right in between. It's mid size, so I wasn't bogged down for speed and it made it through anything I took it through (a lot!). My boyfriend loves mine! I did a lot of research on them before making a decision. The stats were a step above the Recon in everything and it's reveiws were awesome! Also, it did much better (1st place) when put up against the Recon and Bombardier in competition. It is a utility, but sporty appearance and pretty peppy! I don't go for speed unless I'm in a field. We got them in winter so it did great in the snow! Now is the mud, and soon comes the sand (we go the sand dunes all summer long) although I am getting tires for the sand. My BF has stock tires for his Blaster and it does good in the sand. I wanted Gators, but I think I will go with Realtors, good for sand, mud and snow! Anyways, the one thing that took some getting used to is the throw on the shifter which is common. I actually like the shifter compared to full automatic, but the throw is quite a lift and will need to be adjusted depending on if you are wearing think boots or a smaller shoe. Oh, doesn't have a speedometer or what ever you ask about, but you can buy all of that easily! Well I hope you go with it, I love mine!!! You will too! Any questions, email me. todor1ca@hotmail.com

Hey, I just got a Z250 Monday. So far it is a great machine. It is a lot like the ozark but peppier and lighter. You might want to check that out. I'm 15, 120lbs, 5'7" and I love it so far. I've only had it 3 days so I haven't had a chance to go through any mud yet, but for trail riding it is great.

..."I'm 15, 120lbs, 5'7". I wish I was all of those things! hahaha! That sounds pretty cool. Let me know how it does. Is it similar to the Ozark?
