Is the Suzuki LT-F160 right for me?
#1
Hi,
I am a middle age, disabled woman that wants to ride. I am very small (5'tall and 100lbs). I have arthritis in both my shoulders and my spine. I don't think I will be doing any hard riding, but I would like to try to keep up with everyone. I have tried the Polaris 250 in the past and found it very difficult to turn. When I tried out the 160 at the dealership I found it very comfortable, but I wasn't able to ride anywhere but the lot. Would this ATV be good for the trails? I tried to find out as much as I could on them, but there isn't much information out there. I was also thinking about the Honda Recon, but would like to stay smaller. If anyone can help me, I would much appreciate it.

I used to own the LT160 it is a nice little machine with a fairly tight turning radius and easy to steer. These are it's only real good points. This little bike will beat you severely as the shocks have very minimal travel. However, it is a pretty decent machine as long as the speeds stay pretty low. I'd look at a Kawasaki prairie 300 2 wheel drive if you want a nice soft ride. I have ridden a friends 400 4x4 and it was the plushest slow speed ride I have ever felt and the 300 2 wheel drive should be fairly inexpensive.
