it sound slike you filter is clogged in the gas petcock . take your tank off and drain as much fuel as you can . then unscrew the vavle . there is two filters in it try cleaning them . then when you put it back on , take the fuel line off the carb . turn the valve to open to make sure fuel comes out . if thats not it check the float in the carb . hope that helps .

well its getting fuel to the carb so do you think that the floats sticking and it not letting fuel through if so i should be able to whack the carb with something and get it moving temporarily and also i recently put in a set of single stage boyesen reeds but it started hard befor also could it be that i dont have enough back pressure

well getting fuel to the carb is good . it could be the float . might be easier to take the bowl off cause the passage is small . tapping might work . also 130lbs is kind of low . you might have a compression prob . did it ever back fire ? if so check the reeds again . mine did at little sahara and it blew apart my reeds . do a check for fuel . go from the cylinder back . reeds , carb , float ect like that . hope this helps .

i would highly recomend carbon tech reeds . they are a high quality carbon fiber reed . also check the seal around the intake , reed cage , cylinder . if it leaks that also could cause you suck air . let us know if you get it fixed or if you got any more questions .
