Next week i will be getting a new atv, and i am stuck between a z400 and the vinson. I know that they are two completely different types of quads. I have only had one atv before this one and it was a suzuki 250 quadrunner, it was an automatic clutch. I will mostly be riding trails and some creeks. All of my friends have utilitys, and I kind of wanted some thing with power and good speed and something that is fun to throw around and do stuff like that. I am just looking for some honest opinions on what atv to get. Thanks alot.

If you buy a Z400 you will be fast, yes. But if you get into some very rocky trails or mud, like deep mud, your pals will be showing you up big time. Go with the Vinson - it does 99+ km, fast enough and it will pull you through the deep stuff. Believe it or not, it handles jumps pretty well to......GOOD LUCK!

Ask your friends how often they get stuck on their rides and how often they have to drive very slowly over rough terrain. If it's a lot, get a 4x4 utility.

I have a z400 and it's more of a headache than fun when trying to do the technical stuff people do with their 4x4 automatics.

 

Go for the Z400 purely for the pimp factor.
