i have a z400 and something happened to it the other weekend. when its in nuetral and the clutch is in and i let it out it stalls. when its in gear and i am riding it makes a noise kinda like it is not exactly in gear, but i can ride around and change gears. i called the stupid dealer and they told me to try to adjust the clutch, i tried but did nothing. So i called back and they said it was probably my clutch, i'm not sure but the noise is pissing me off. i know that stuff comes loose a lot on it and was wondering if anyone had the same problem or has a clue what the noise is. is it the clutch or tranny or what?

 

If it's under warranty, take it to the dealer and make them fix it.

If it's not under warranty, buy the service book/guide and have a look in the transmission.
