I have a 94 or 96 king quad.....tittle says 300. when it is cold the atv is slipping and has a severe oil leak. I have a possible replacement motor that came off of a quad runner, supposedly 4wd but I believe to be a 250. Will the motor work as a replacement??? If not what are the possible causes for the transmition slip aside from a roached tranny?? If the tranny is roached, are the tranny parts interchangeable. It looks like both motor/tranny contained in case.
I would just like some insight before I start taking things apart. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

There are clutch's inside. I realize it's an auto, but they are in there and in need of replacement. No reason to replace a motor.
