#1
the cylinder on my lt looks great on the outside but when i took it apart to rebuild it new piston and i found out on of the bottom pieces of the sleeve is missing how didi it run and not seize up i run it for almost a year like that it was put together like that by the previous owner so can i put a new psiton in and run it agian with tha chunk missing of an i flirting with disaster?

It can run that way depending on how much of the cylinder is missing. I have ran a snowmobile that way, it has about 2700miles on it now. It may work because believe it or not the rings on the piston usually never go that far down, they most likely go just far enough down so the intake ports open.
Hope this helps.
And hopefully some mechanic could tell you if I'm right wrong and tell you what you should do.

Ok this kinda sounds like a 4stroke problem. You might just have to put some new rings in the beast. How much piston slap is there? Oh yeah, nevermind your putting a new piston and rings anyways.
