Swingarm cracked on 86' LT250....figures
#1
Hey people, my brother has a super super clean 86' LT250.
We goto Glamis all the time and it runs excellent every trip....
When we got home the other day, we lifted our bikes up on end to wash the undersides, and I noticed his
swingarm is cracked on the circular part of the bearing carrier on the under side.
Is this weldable? Or is a new swingarm the only way.
We did quite a bit of jumping this trip.......

I heard that them style swingarms did that if you do heavy jumps. It must be a weak point on them. You could weld it and reinforce the swingarm while your at it. OR you could buy a laegers or lonestar. Its up to you. Gets someone elses opinion to.
