what is the bike good for because i sellling my polaris trailblazer, and thinking about getting a 1988 lt250r, an 2001 warrior, or an honda 250r. i do alot of trailriding just looking for more speed and power, i am also looking for a lighter bike bcause i seems like the polrais is too heavy. i do go through mud, and through some tight trails.. let me know.

both 250r's are light as hell

but they dont have some of the luxuries that the newer bikes have (electric start, reverse...)

 

None will be as good in mud as the Polaris but they will all be better in every other way.

If money is no concern go with the 250r its the best of the 3 overall

If you want to save a ton of $s and you would settle for a bike thats damn near as good get the lt250

If you willing to give up speed and deal with a little more wieght to gain reliability and do much better in mud get a Warrior.

 

Ride some, the Warrior is a tank, poorly suspended, handles like a Lincoln Continental, and is an air cooled 4 stroke 350. Both the 250s will smoke it, will be easier to mod, and will handle much better because of superior suspension and ligher weight.
