Default best exhaust system for z400/kfx400

Bulldogz400

Noticed you have a warrior with a WB series slip...did that help out your warrior at all. How does the warrior hang with the z in the trails and sand. I just purchased a kfx400 and the brother has a warrior. We havent raced or anything as i am braking mine in...but he was looking into some mods to keep the warrior up with when we go riding and the slip-on WB was one...he has K&N filter...so my questions

- does the warrior hang with it
- does the WB help with the warriors power
- any other cheap mods you might know

Any input would be greatly appreciated . Not slamming any of the quads just trying to ensure we have fun enjoyable rides...thanks

Choices I would consider.
HMF (really good pipe) highly under rated for it's output.
Trinity pipe (if you don't mind waiting for delivery)
Muzzy system (i have and is a really nice peice of work)
last but least CT Racing.

Just to confuse you more:
LRD $450 fully ceramic coated. Really woke mine up.
really, the differences aren't that big. Find one you like the look and name of, you will be happy.

I have narrowed it down to these three systems....http://alba.buyol.com/Item/LTZ-PC4KIT.htm
....http://alba.buyol.com/Item/LTZ400-PIPE-KIT.htm
....http://www.trinityracingproducts.com/stagexsys.html

Out of these three kits which one do u think is the best?.. like which has the most HP gains, and which one will i notice the most accelleration and speed increases?

the difference b/w the 2 is this. the stage 4 is stainless steel first of all. It also offers a slightly larger hp gain over the stage 2. The main advantage of the stage 4 is the fact that if you do engine modifications, the pipe will still flow enough to not restrict the power increases.

ps, next time you have a post with links, actually make a link to them, so i dont have to copy and paste into a new browser window, thanks.

Bosox07-Well adding the WB pipe did help out the Warrior in bottom/mid range, but the pipe on the Z made a HUGE difference. It feels very funny hopping back on the Warrior now because it feels so much different than the Z. The Warrior can keep up with the Z on trails, since we rarely go full throttle, but when we get to the sand its a totally different story. Don't get me wrong I love the Warrior, but it just can't hang. I don't know what other mods you could put on a Warrior to catch up, without going into the motor and therefore, losing reliability. Hope this helps!
