89 LT250R compression problem

Default 89 LT250R compression problem

THe bike cant be running rich cuz i mix my gas at 40:1 mixture and i got a 250 main jet and a 35 piloit jet so it doesnt go much leaner than that ?

Default 89 LT250R compression problem

Also what does everone set there exaust valve at, stock is 360 counter clockwise, but my machnie is mod so where should I set it ? ITs and 87 bored 10 over and FMF pipe scilencer, K&N clamp on filter , boysen stock Dual satge power reeds so those are the specs and ive always had a tuning problem so if I could get it to run good that would be greatly apreciated.
