My cousin has one, the spider traks make it slower, but it can go through more mud than my raptor.

They are the forefathers of the sport quad. I will not give up my 230. It is reliable and great to ride. If you do your maintenance, tighten the chain to factory specs, make sure all the rear end/ swingarm bearings are in good shape you will be fine. Best of all you can get a mint one for about $1500 - $1800. Look for a 1987 or newer. Parts are available everywhere for this bike. I remember my first ride on the Quadsport in November of 1984....I was hooked. Try one man and see where quads STARTED! ! !

I have a 1986 quadsport with a bore kit 0.40 wiseco piston and cobra pipe. Its not the most fun or fastest quad but it will climb just about anything and will wheelie till you run out of room
I'm beginning to regret buying it though, because after the original owner put in the bore and higher compression piston it is impossible to kickstart. i have to pull it every time, i dont want to spend a ton of money to fix this so I'll probably end up selling it.

my cousins 230 has a compression release on it, makes it very easy to kick, you might want to look into one.
