So you going to have some pics for us soon? I would like to see some of the parts before it's reassembled. Most of all I would like to hear dyno numbers once you get it broken in and dialed in. Low to mid 50's I would assume.

Yes get the Dyno numbers for us if you could. I bet you're in the mid 50's.

JeffP-how do you like your intake cam? Mine is going to be here friday, and was wondering how much improvement you saw. Also, did you get the installation right the first time, or have to go back in and fix it? Thanks

I had the cam in for a couple of days but when I went back to check the lash (per their recommendation) it had tightened up to much. I was getting around .100mm lash. I have new shims that just arrived at the dealer today so I'm going to pick them up tomorrow and reinstall it this weekend. This should put me in the .200mm range, as they recommend being on the loose end of the scale. I probably could of left it but I was getting to much valve noise to make me comfortable. As for cam timing etc. I did have all that all the money even though I second guessed myself several times.

The bike did have a little loss of bottom end. Some claim it doesn't but I don't think they are "in touch" with the response of the motor. The mid range and top end does have some decent gains. I think I'll see a little more gain up top once I put the new shims in. Being that tight it may of held the intake valves open just a little longer then it should (my guess).

Yes please let us know the details on your 470 kit as soon as possible. I am very interested in getting the 470 kit and I wanted to know how it perfomed, especially against the yfz 450's

Imix, for courtesy sake could you just create a new topic instead of resurrecting a two year old post. adrenjnky hasn't even been on the site since 2003.
Thank you and welcome aboard.
