NAME ANY 4 stroke quad that can beat a two stroke of the same cc's. you need almost twice the displacement,a lot more weight,and way more rotating weight,and way more crap to worry about breaking. if all i did was cruise,i would own a 300 ex. i do like some of the big four strokes.but i seen a v-twin 700 cc fourwheeler? what the hell is the since in that.

i may be cheaper to rebuild a top end on a 2 stroke but a 4 stroke will last 10 times longer on a topend. the average 2 strokers rebuild their top end every 20-50 hours of riding. i know even a highly moddified 4 stroke can go for a h#ll of a lot longer that that.
ive never seen a 2 stroke run the 1/4 mile in 4.5 seconds at 330 mph, "top fuel dragsters" the fasest vehicles in the world are 4 stroke. im not saying 4 strokes are faster or anything, im just saying everything today is 4 stroke. even if there was a 2 stroke dragster it would probably blow up before it got to the starting line.

But wouldn't a two stroke of the same displacement as a top fueler be faster?
I can see it not having the speed of the holeshot like a 4 stroke top fueler would have because of the ammount of torque
and power to the ground...but the 2 stroke would have way better mid and toprange speed I would think.
Did they ever try making 2 stroke top fuelers?

LOL now your trying to compare top fuelers to 2-strokes...will it ever end? Lets at least try and stay in the same general catagory which is quads.
So you get 500 hours out of your 4-stroke top end? Should we go in and ask the other guys with the modified raptors as to how long they get out of their motors...i think not.

if they did make a 2 stroke top fuel dragster it would be faster than h#ll, thats if it could last. i really wonder why nobody has ever done that.

2-strokes arent efficient enough when blown. You also wouldnt have enough lubrication in the crank when pounding 60% nitro in a 8 cyl 2-stroke, that along with trying to keep fuel in the thing would be near impossible

lmfao at rebuilding topends every 50 hrs i havent rebuilt mine in the last 2 years and wasnt rebuilt 5 yrs prior to that so thats 7 yrs and mine is still goin. wtf does fuel dragsters have to do with pros and cons of 2 and 4 strokes.? i musta fell and bumped my head again.

by the way honda 2-stokes are nasty to a point where i cant describe how i feel about them. soooooo fast
