Can anyone help with a Power Valve adjustment??
The 96 rm 125 was a very good year. If you have the manual it will take you step by step. When you put the cap over the tension spring you have to turn the cap one full turn. If you have any more problems I can probably find some instructions to send you. It's very hard to explain this way. Good luck.

Can anyone help with a Power Valve adjustment??
Just the opposite. As rev's increase power valve opens. Opens up porting so to speak! A stock 96 rm125 had a smooth but wide powerband. With porting , head mod's, bored carb and pipe it was a great 125. IMO. In fact our's was the best overall 125 we ever raced. The reason for the power valve is to give more low end power and as rpm's increase the power valve opens for good top end. The best of both worlds soo to speak! Good luck! Hope I helped.
