Having trouble with accelerator power. idles well - no power. Please help - kids screaming - school holidays - wife pulling hair out -

 

there can be many problems... start by taking the carb off and blow it with plenty of carb cleaner and clear it with a compressor lightly through the jets to clear them out... next replace spark plug... and when it fires up hold it wide open everything that suzuki has to clear out any oils that may have been there until u get a crispe response.. if it is still bad might have to rebore to the next sizemay have lots of scuffs in the piston an cylinders.... do any obvious cheaks... hope this helps u out... let us know how it goes..PEACE

 

If it is new and has no power it's because there is an exhaust restrictor plate on it. If that's the case to remove it you need to take the head pipe off at the motor and remove what looks like a washer between the motor and the exhaust pipe. It will run alot better after that.

 

I CAN TELL YOU THIS FIRST TAKE OUT ALL THE RESTRICTORS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO, HOWEVER NOTHIN YOU DO WHILE HELP MUCH. WE HAVE A 2002 LT50 FOR OUR DAUGHTER AND I HAVE CONTACTED SUZUKI DIRECTLY AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS S@#T OUT OF LUCK BECAUSE I BOUGHT A $2000.00 TOY AND THATS JUST THE WAY IT IS. EVEN AFTER INVESTING ANOTHER $500.00 IN EXHAUST AND HEAD PORTING THIS THING IS STILL JUNK. I HEAR FMF IS COMING OUT WITH A PIPE THIS WEEK THAT MIGHT HELP BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL DO MUCH TO IMPROVE ON WHAT I'VE DONE ALREADY. I'M WORKING WITH M.Q. RACING RIGHT NOW WHICH SPECIALIZE IN MINI QUADS AND HE SAYS THAT THERE IS NOT MUCH TO BE DONE WITH THE SUZUKIT 50 OR 80. HE CAN GET THE EXTREME MACHINE 50CC AND THE E-TON 50CC RUNNING AT ABOUT 43MPH AND CAN FLY WITH ME ON THEM AND I WEIGH OVER 250LBS.
