I would like to ask any Quadrunner/Quadmaster owners, about which brand of tires they purchased, and the sizes, and what kind of improvement was gained in handling characteristics, and or traction.
I am finding that the Dunlop's, that came from the factory, seem to have an uncomfortable lateral roll, when cornering. There has been more than once, that I find myself up on two wheels, when turning.
I realize that this is not a Sport Quad, but I ride fairly hard, and am interested in any options that could provide a little improvement in this particular area.
I was at the dealer a few days ago, and they had a Quadmaster in the showroom, with a pair of Maxxis Rubicon 25x12.5x12 on the rear, (stock is 25x10x12) and a pair of Dick Cepek Spider Tracs 25x9.5x12 on the front.
These looked like some nasty tires, but what also interested me was the fact that because the rears are 12.5", that possibly they would eliminate some of the roll associated with the Dunlops.
Any opinions ???

Maybe you should alter air pressure in your tires? We live on a 3000 acre grass seed farm and I got tired of fixing a flat in those dunlops every week, so i went for the Mudrunners. I got the stock size, and have been very satisfied with these tires - they have a nice ride - a little rougher than OEM, but oh well. They handle great everywhere I have gone with them. One thing you mentioned about lateral roll - after I got the mudrunners I noticed that the rear end didnt stick to the ground as well, it wants to fishtail but it doesnt. Getting wider tires tends to make handling become a little sloppier. You lose roll, but will slide. I am happy with what I have.
