My zilla keeps jumping out of 4th and going in to 5th under a hard acceleration, and sometimes it jumps out of 4th and goes in to nuetral
any help on this would be grateful[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I'm not positive on this but I think you need new shifting forks. Hopefully someone with a Zilla will help you with more details.

the spring that holds the selecter arm could be bad , also the prawls and springs in the shift cam could be bad . cheap pieces to replace and often over looked that go out . they are behind the clutch if you didnt know . its the piece that looks like a star .

 

I'm going threw the same problem on mine the shift fork is worn but you might check that and your gears and what donzilla said .

 

there is really no way to be sure until you tear her down.on my 87 250,the gear dogs were bad on second gear.
