Default my 91 LT250's carb is leaking!!!!

it leaks when the quad is off and sitting there with the fuelcock ON and when I turn it to OFF it just drains out the float bowls...I had the carb off before and the floats were sticking so I had to bend them out a tad bit and all was fine but now the problem comes back...any ideas?

when your floatbowls float up they open a circuit that allows fuel into the bowl. what happen to me was everytime i turn the gas on it drained out so i took it apart and realized that i put it together wrong . It's probably your needle valve that is turned upside down. all i did was flip it back over and it worked fine. do you know what a needle valve is? check out www.ronnies.com at their online microfiche and on the 1987 suzuki quadracer the needle valve is #22 on the diagram. i can't help you anymore because i think i solved your problem. your description is exactly what mine did until i put the needle valve in correctly. reply if you don't find it,or if it didn't solve your problem.

Mine does that too. My needle valve is definitely not upside down though. I think it just doesn’t seal perfectly. It could be that the needle valve has been dropped and damaged.

Maybe a time for a carb rebuild.
That took care of my issues along with some fresh fuel.
Do you have an in line filter? It does help keep the carb cleaner.
my 2 cents.
