Hello, I am debating on which quad to ride. I have heard both good and some bad things about these quads and wanted your oppinion. I know the Predator has more speed and better steering and the z 400 is comfortable and a overall good quad. Please tell me which one is at the top of the list.

 

Both are great quads. I have a Z that I bought before the Predator was released, and I love it. My family just bought a Polaris dealership, so I will soon be switching to a Predetor. Doesn't look good if you don't want to ride the machines that you sell. I have no problem doing this. There is very few quads I can say that about! You have already listed the advantages of both machines. If speed is not your main concern you can get into a Z for about a $1000 less then the predator. If your a a good American boy, who wants to support a good American company that has come out with one mean quad, buy the Predator. Look at it this way...you will most likely want the Z faster then stock at some point, and the predator aready is faster. You will spend at least a $1500+ just to get the Z up to the predators power. Buy the Predetor and when you want even more power, you have a great place to start. It is already as fast as the Raptor 660 in stock form. If you are going to finance like most of us, remember that you can tie that extra $1000 into you monthly payments, instead of dropping the $1500 in cash, when you feel the need for more speed on the Z. All in all you can't loose. Go sit on both, ask for a test ride, see which one you like the look and feel of most, buy it and then go ride the hell out of it.
