Default 1998 Grizzly starter won't disengage

My 1998 Grizzly 600 starter won't disengage after it starts. It will if I unplug the Relay Assy which is the middle white one right above the left rear tire. This relay is Electrical 2 on Bikebandit Fiche, schematic #25 part #29U-81950-93-00. On the Fiche it shows two of the same relays but I haven't messed with the other one. Do you think the Relay Assy is the problem? I have changed the starter switch assembly on the handlebars thinking it had a short. I'm stuck right now and need some professional tips on what to do next.

I forgot to mention an important part. When I turn the key on, the starter immediately engages without me even pushing the starter button. I'm really needing a direction to go next.

I found my kodiak starting on its own because starter relay "tab (eye hole)" under the positve lug wire post was broken off.
