Default Anyone help me with 93 Polaris 250 slippage problem?

Have 93 Polaris 250 2x4. When in high gear, somthing slips when high torque used, ie: hard climb, or fast start, and it loses all drive. The engine winds out, and I have to let it come back to idle, then everything starts out ok again. Then does same thing again under load. Does ok in low gear... Clutch slipping? Belt? Driven chutch? Any help highly appreciated!!!!

how long since you changed your drive belt? that can definatly cause slippage as the belt wears down. they are simple to replace definatly a DIY job and not too expensive either

i mean theres always the posibility that its another clutch issue but id bet the farm its just a worn out belt.
