Default electrical problem

hello, i could use your expertise. i have a kazuma 50cc quad. the only way to start the quad is to jump the solenoid. the push button starter button will not kick the quad over. i have replaced the kill switch and solenoid. the weird thing is when the atv is running the starter switch will engage the starter, but only when it is running. any suggestions would be great. thanks brandon

hey bryan, this atv does not have a hand brake. i even tried to hold down the foot brake and that did not work. i purchased this atv from a friend, and it had sit for about a year and was not started. it was working fine when it was parked. if there is anything else you can think of let me know. thanks brandon

kinda sounds like a voltage problem does it take a volt meter and check to see if your getting power to the selinoid windings then trace backwards from there using the voltmeter you should be able to find your problem that way

Do you have any experience with the wiring? Specifically the coil wiring and kill switches. I have one of these things with no spark.
