engine performance

Default engine performance

have a polaris 200 pheonix and i wish to abtain more speed from my quad. the thing is that it reaches 60km/hr and thats it!! is there any modifications that i could make to reach more speed????

Sounds like you need to buy a bigger quad.

There's no replacement for displacement.
I don't know of any mods available for it.
Bigger tires would make it a little faster but sacrifice low end torque.
The best thing is to get something with a bigger engine.
A Sportsman 500 will do about 90 clicks no problem.

I had a Honda 200 Big Red and thats all it would do. If your carb is tuned you are at your max, you could try to lean it down 1/8 turn and see if it helps, but don't lean it too much it will cost you a piston.
