Hey guys! Just joined the forum in hopes of finding some help or suggestions on a used 200cc Wildfire ATV I just purchased. I got it very cheap and I believe it is a 2005 or 2006 model. Anyways, the ATV cranks over just fine and all lights, gear indicator lights, and brake lights work fine with the ignition on. I pulled out the plug and cranked over with the plug against the exhaust and found there is no spark at all. I don't know a whole lot about these, but used a standard test light and it seems that I am getting no power to the coil and also test lighted all pins that go into the CDI box and none of them had power with ignition on or while cranking. I've asked around and a couple people suggest the pick-up coil may be bad? Or possibly stator? I think they are all one part on my ATV but not sure how to check. If anyone has any suggestions on what to test or how to test it, please let me know. ANY help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
