This seems to be a never ending saga with this dealer. After returning 2 incorrect winch mount plates, and attempting to return a winch with a manufacturer defect I am getting irate.

I got a new Mile Marker PE2500, but in the box was the solenoid for a Warn RT25. Does anyone know if this will work? I hooked it up, but it doesn't seem to be getting any power.

I noticed there is a remote control socket in the directions. However, the winch did not come with one. The diagram shows the remote control socket being connected to the ignition, and a little red wire on the switch.

The way I have it connected is as follows.
Red to battery
black to battery
yellow to motor
blue to motor

The tiny red wire for the remote control, on the switch, is not connected to anything. Does it have to be connected, or is it only for a different remote control? The one I have has different plugs.

I figured it out. The red wire goes to the ignition, and the solenoid will work with the Mile Marker.
