first let me introduce myself im joe and glad to meet all of you i have a carb quetion my trx300 runs but idles high and now wont start lots of gas in air box i think the carb needs rebuilt it sat for years can anyone tell me how hard it is and do you think that is problem

 

im not a pro at this stuf but i think you should buy a carb rebuild kit (chaparral sells one for about $50 i think). the reason i looked at this one is bcs one of my friends has a 1990 300fourtrax 2wd and he has never had this problem before (especialy with how much it sits, lol). but if that kit does not work, try to find a good used one on ebay. good luck!
