Hello, Im a newbie and had a question. Just bought a 91 bayou and the push button will not start the quad. Pull start works great and jumping the solenoid works great. I have no clicking at the solenoid. The big post at the solenoid has 12v going to it and the other side going to starter has 60ohms. When I push the button the 60 ohms doesn't change. The 3 other wires (small ones) that also connect to the solenoid all have 12v wheather i push the button or not. Also, gets more weird. If i hook up my truck battery, it doesn't change, but if I start my truck, for some reason it makes the push button work. Im lost. Could it be the starter relay switch? Or the starter solenoid? Any suggestions? Thanks

 

I figured it out. Took the starter relay switch (circle relay next to the solenoid)all the way apart and it had corrosion on it. Cleaned it up and she fired right up. Thanks
