Smoke coming out under full throttle

1990s kawasaki bayou smokes when giving it full throttle at speed. Doesn't have the issue under any other conditions. Any idea whats causing this and how to fix?

Bad rings or ring lands or both.

If I do the rings should I go ahead and get a new piston as well? I just got this and don't know much of its history

A 90's quad is more than likely going to have many hours on the engine. When it's torn down, do it right the first time. Replace all worn parts.
